Chloe, the French fashion house, was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, making this the 60th year of being in the fashion business. Her idea was to create luxury garments without the exclusivity of Haute Couture. She went on to inspire future fashion designers such as Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney to join the Chloe brand.
The following is an extract from The Guardian.
“While Chloé’s spring/summer 2013 collection was unveiled in Paris during fashion week, an exhibition celebrating the label’s 60th anniversary is currently showing at the French capital‘s Palais de Tokyo centre.
